Architectural
Drawings/Designs

Whether you’re equipped with your drawings already in hand or require a little more guidance, our team can help. Engaging an architect or designer to develop the drawings for your new home allows us to jump into your project fairly quickly. However, if you’re yet to have your drawings developed, we can guide you through the process, suggesting ideas, and recommend a few options to help get you started.

Estimation Through
to Proposal

Our Lead Builder, Jayden, will provide you with an estimated quote to give you an idea on timeframes, our build process, and the overall cost of your project. There will be elements of the build which are considered priority, whilst others may change over time as your personal preference changes. We’re happy to remain flexible throughout the project to ensure the home you step into perfectly represents your vision.

Contract
Finalisation

Once you’re completely happy with your proposal and ready to move forward, we’ll provide you with a finalised contract whereby your new home will become one of the select few projects we embark on for the year. Following this, we’ll begin the process of requesting all of your approvals for you, taking the stress off your hands, and allowing you to bask in the excitement of building your new dream home with JKR Building Company.

Frequently Asked Questions

While having your architectural drawings ready-to-go will speed up the process, they’re not a necessity when you come to us initially. Our interior designer, Kym, will be happy to help guide you through the stages of designing your new home beginning with any simple drawings or basic ideas you may have. Following this we can provide you with an estimated quote for your project.

JKR Building Company is based in Lake Clifton, just over an hour drive from Perth, making us more commonly known as country builders. Our predominant build radius ranges between Rockingham and Bridgetown, however we’re happy to discuss your location and whether we can schedule travel to your build site.

We’re lucky to have a range of skilled builders who are well-versed in all types of building projects such as commercial builds, renovating existing spaces, or building extensions onto pre-existing homes/facilities.

A passive house (or Passivhaus in German) is a voluntary standard for energy efficiency in a home or building. A passive house allows people to prioritise their ecological footprint by adding features into their home/building which requires less energy to be used.

In order to achieve the Passive House standard, the building design is tested and verified using the specialist Passive House Planning Package (PHPP) software. There is a certification process for tradespeople available through the Australian Passivhaus Association. People who complete the Passive House Exam, must demonstrate a sound knowledge and application of the fundamentals of Passive House Construction. We are proudly Passive House builders.
